Brad Friedel lopettaa pelaajauran.

http://www.teamtalk.com/premier-league/9849424/Tottenham-s-Brad-Friedel-to-retire-at-end-of-season

aye....we are also forgetting a great coach that could'nt be there, Ray Harford RIP and also notice Henning Berg isnt there......I wonder why lol....no Batty either as he refused his medal as he was injured

Hieno kuva.

Leon Best departs

http://www.rovers.co.uk/news/article/rovers-leon-best-2533650.aspx

Loistava uutinen. Viimeinkin alkaa olemaan joukkueen palkkarakenne kunnossa. No joo näkyyhän se laadussa.

Rhodes nyt jotain tienaa, niin kuin pitääkin.

Voisko Rovers saada jotain osuuksia Nzonzin siirrosta?

Paul Wheelock column: It was for the Best – Blackburn Rovers were right to pay off Leon

AT £5.5m per goal, or £687,500 per appearance, Leon Best must go down as the biggest waste of money in Blackburn Rovers’ history.

Lancashire Telegraphista poimittu.

"And if that figure is correct Rovers are initially expected to net between £450,000 and £600,000 after they included a sell-on clause entitling them to 15 per cent of any profit Stoke made on the Frenchman.

However it is understood that, after other clauses were activated, the fee the Potters eventually paid stands closer to £4m.

But, whatever the final figure Rovers will receive from the sell-on, it will come as a boost as they continue to cut costs in an effort to fall in line with Financial Fair Play regulations.

The club, which is currently under an FFP embargo, has lost 12 first-team players with first-team experience since the end of last season."

Juupa juu.. elikkäs viime kaudella Roversin nutussa lainalla palloillut Alex Baptiste siirtyi pari viikkoa sitten Boltonista tuonne Middlesbroughin suuntaan, pysyvällä siirrolla ja ilmeisesti jo kerinnyt sitten teloa jalkansa siellä sit.. ei ihan ideaali alku uudessa seurassa....

Paul Wheelock@PaulWheelock 7 min7 minuuttia sitten

Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka has confirmed ex-#rovers defender Alex Baptiste suffered a suspected broken leg on his debut for the club.
