Paris Saint-Germain - siirtohuhuja

Recommended Posts

Paris Saint-Germain will seek UEFA's consent ahead of making a €125 million bid for Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, according to reports.

J. I. Gallardo of Marca suggests Ronaldo has received a "permanent offer" from the Ligue 1 champions, a story L'Equipe adds to in France, per Bleacher Report's French football expert Jonathan Johnson: "L'Equipe carrying today's Marca story that PSG are ready to spend €125m on Cristiano Ronaldo. PSG to ask UEFA for permission to spend fee."

Marca's Jose Felix Diaz believes PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaïfi "will bend over backwards" to lure Ronaldo away from the Bernabeu. However, Diaz reports Ronaldo "wants to carry on at Real Madrid, but first he wants to clear up a few matters concerning next season's team."

Gallardo's article suggests Ronaldo has met with Los Blancos president Florentino Perez to discuss the club's plans for the summer. Madrid will finish this campaign trophyless, despite a successful individual year for CR7.

Ronaldo is likely to win this season's Golden Shoe award for being Europe's top domestic goalscorer, as he is currently four ahead of Lionel Messi with one fixture remaining. His tally of 45 is both remarkable and unsurprising given the player's tremendous quality.

Diaz notes Ronaldo is "unimpressed" by the thought of a potential return to Manchester United, and that he will "clear up any doubts" surrounding his future in the "next few days." Madrid's plans heading into next season, as ever, will revolve around the Portuguese icon.

Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti—whose job may be under threat after failing to land silverware, as reported by Alberto Pinero of Goal.com—discussed Ronaldo's contribution on Friday. Ancelotti: "Cristiano has given his top effort to help the team to try and win titles. We can’t ask more of him.”

While Ronaldo has proven more susceptible to remaining on the edge of matches this season, his record simply cannot be harped at. However, he has appeared frustrated at multiple times throughout the campaign, defined by his media blackout and various reactions on the pitch.

PSG failed to comply with UEFA's financial fair play rules last summer, receiving a fine and squad cap as punishment.

However, UEFA president Michel Platini recently suggested spending restrictions may be "eased," per French radio station RTL (h/t Matt Slater of BBC Sport), possibly giving PSG greater power to drop mega-funds on Ronaldo.

Both Madrid and PSG continue to be linked with a move for Juventus starlet Paul Pogba. Juve club director Pavel Nedved recently told Le Parisien (h/t Matthew Scott of Goal.com) that the Italians have received an offer from PSG. "But Paris is not the only one. Real Madrid and Barcelona are also interested," said Nedved.

Ancelotti praised Pogba in his recent chat with the press, as tweeted by AS: "Pogba? He is a great young player who will have a good future. He is one of the best youngsters in Europe."

Even if UEFA ease its FFP restrictions, it seems unlikely PSG will be allowed to spend on Ronaldo and Pogba in the same summer. Al-Khelaïfi is aiming high after landing three consecutive domestic titles, and he will want to see PSG produce a memorable assault on the Champions League. However, firm decisions will need to be made when targeting the club's next superstars.

A failure to win silverware is always going to produce reports centred on Ronaldo. Madrid will most likely opt to give the 30-year-old everything he wants before cashing in, such is his value to the club.

Although selling the former United man would likely increase Madrid's chances of capturing Pogba, Ronaldo is still the goalscorer Madrid need to land success.

Dani Alves edging closer to PSG move
According to Sky Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Dani Alves will be joining PSG this summer on a three year deal worth roughly €3m a year.

This was followed up by reports RMC who confirmed that Alves had an offer from PSG worth €2.9m a year, for three seasons, but did not specify whether Alves had decided to make the move or not.

Alves will be holding a press conference on Monday to make an announcement about his future and he is now firmly expected to announce a move to PSG.

Edinson Cavani to the Parc des Princes: "See you next season!"

Edinson Cavani has scored 55 goals in 95 matches for PSG in all competitions now.

He has scored 12 goals in his last 8 games. Stay or go?

According to Le Parisien, PSG have entered into discussions with Al Saad to loan Xavi (currently at Barcelona).

PSG in talks with Al-Sadd for Xavi, according to Le Parisien

According to Le Parisien, PSG have entered into talks with Qatari side Al-Sadd over the possible loan of Xavi, the Spanish midfielder who will leave Barcelona for Qatar next month.

The newspaper claims that PSG got the inspiration for this type of deal, which they have supposedly been working on for some time now, from England and Frank Lampard’s arrangement with NYCFC and Manchester City this season.

A deal between PSG and Al-Sadd is going to be very easy to agree, at least between the two clubs as the owner of the Qatari outfit, is actually the brother of Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the owner of the Ligue 1 side. PSG expect that the loan would be done at no cost and that Al-Sadd would pay some, if not all of Xavi’s salary.

If Xavi did go for the deal to PSG, his family would be able to remain in Spain for another season, something which is personally attractive for the player. According to the journalist who wrote the article, Arnaud Hermant, who spoke in a video on the website later on in the day, Xavi has to be aware of these negotiations.

The player, despite claiming that he would never play for another European team again, is weighing up the deal. A possibility? Yes. It is up to Xavi.

PSG reach agreement for the signing of Alexandre Lacazette

Get French Football News can exclusively reveal that sources have informed us that PSG and Lyon have reached an agreement for the transfer of Alexandre Lacazette.

This sensational deal includes a loan back to Lyon for the 2015/16 season. The player has, according to our source, agreed to a five year contract with the Ligue 1 champions, which means that when he returns to PSG in the summer of 2016, he will have four years remaining on his deal.

It is our understanding that the broad-brush transfer agreement was reached on Thursday in a meeting in Paris. The player’s agent, Jean-Pierre Bernes, Lyon President Jean Michel Aulas, PSG President Nasser Al Khelaifi and Alexandre Lacazette were all present.

Sources tell us that Alexandre Lacazette was therefore absent for a period of time on Thursday from Clairefontaine as the French national team continued to prepare for their friendly match vs Belgium. This absence was explained away by Lacazette who claimed to “be feeling unwell” to the rest of the team. In reality, he was on his way to Paris. Didier Deschamps was informed of the actual reason for his absence and gave his go-ahead for Lacazette to make the meeting.

The only other person that Lacazette is understood to have informed about the meeting was Lyon and France team-mate Nabil Fékir. The details of the fee and contract agreement will follow, but an agreement in principle has been reached. Alexandre Lacazette to PSG.

Such a deal fundamentally pleases all three parties. Jean Michel Aulas gets to keep Lacazette for the forthcoming 2015/16 campaign and the French international will play Champions League football for Lyon, as well as playing for his current side in their new stadium, the Grand Stade OL. PSG’s recruitment takes a more pro-French player angle, which is something that Laurent Blanc and Nasser Al Khelaifi have been hoping to achieve, but the manager will not have an added selection headache upfront either. Instead of having Lacazette, Ibrahimovic and Cavani at the club all at the same time, Ibrahimovic and Cavani will continue at PSG, with the Swede bowing out when his contract expires in 2016. Lacazette will then take over.

As for the player, Lacazette is set to receive a substantial wage rise and play for a team that can challenge for the Champions League.

While it is our understanding that certain specifics are still to be finalised, an agreement is in place for the transfer.

Didn't see that one coming, vaikka olihan tossa aikasemmin keväällä juttua, että PSG jahtaa Fekiriä ja Lacazettea.

Griezmann itse on kertonut pitävänsä elämästään Madridissa.

Kevin Trapp has successfully passed his medical with PSG ahead of his €9m move from Frankfurt, according to Canal Supporters.

Saisi hiljalleen tästäkin tulla jo vahvistus, niin pääsisi isompien kalojen perään.

Tai no, eihän tässäkään mistään tusinanimestä puhuta.

PSG LINKED WITH £47M DI MARÍA
Paris Saint Germain are expected to lodge a formal offer for Manchester United's Ángel Di María, according to The Guardian. The newspaper says he is the main target for the French club and United would consider letting him leave after landing Memphis Depay and being set to conclude a deal for Bastian Schweinsteiger. The Guardian reports they will bid £47million and the player will want £185,000-per-week in wages after tax.

PSG COOL ZLATAN EXIT TALK

Speaking in French newspaper L'Equipe, PSG boss Laurent Blanc says star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is going nowhere this summer.

He added: "There was never any doubt of him staying! I don’t attach any importance to rumours. For us it was very clear: Ibra was always part of the 2015-2016 squad."

Ángel Di María closer & closer to PSG move

According to Le Parisien, Ángel Di María will be PSG’s next summer signing. The former Real Madrid players has already given an agreement to PSG representatives to join the club on a 5 year deal, according to the report.

PSG have officially opened active negotiations with Manchester United for the player’s transfer and while these are not completed, they are advancing well and there is a certain optimism around PSG circles that they will get this deal done soon.

A deal is currently being negotiated around the €60m mark, despite British press reports claiming a fee would be around €65m. The Argentinian could even join up with PSG during their US tour, when Les Parisiens play… Manchester United. Di María, a year later than anticipated, now appears set to get his French dream.

En itse olisi valmis päästämään Mottaa vielä pois, sillä ainakin yhden kauden verran olisi annettavaa italialaisella. Tilanne kuitenkin on mikä on, joten eiköhän lähtö ole lähellä.

MOTTA OPEN TO INTER RETURN

PSG midfielder Thiago Motta has admitted he would be tempted by a return to former club Inter Milan.

The 32-year-old won the treble at the San Siro and has told Gazzetta dello Sport he now feels his time with the French champions may be up.

"I think I have given everything (at PSG) by now. Returning to Inter would be a real challenge, as (coach Roberto) Mancini has shown with his choice to join the club again at a delicate moment.

"It would be stimulating but also natural to rediscover a place where I won everything."

SHOULD PSG SIGN MORE FRENCH PLAYERS?
French Football Federation president upset with lack of internationals playing in Ligue 1

Antoine-Griezmann-French-National-Team-6
Hey Antoine, you're French. Come play for PSG!

Noel Le Graet, the president of the French Football Federation, is not happy about the lack of internationals playing in Ligue 1 and he wants Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco to do something about it.

"I would prefer these clubs, who are after all in a strong economic position, to take an interest in our internationals."
—Noel Le Graet

When you look at PSG’s squad as currently constructed, Blaise Matuidi is the only Frenchman who can break into Laurent Blanc’s starting XI on a regular basis. Yohan Cabaye is most likely on his way to England as is Adrien Rabiot (if his mom gets her way). Lucas Digne plays sparingly and has fallen behind 33-year-old Maxwell at the left-back position.

As a supporter of PSG I have to agree with Le Graet but not because I think the capital club should meet some kind of quota. France is currently ranked ninth in the FIFA World Ranking and the team is packed with talented young players I would love to see at the Parc. The problem is the perception that the English Premier League is the best in the world and the amount of money English clubs can pay players.

For the June 13 match against Albania, 24 players were called up to the French National Team. Of those, only nine currently play in Ligue 1. To compare, 23 players were called up to the England National Team on June 14 and every single one of them play for an English club. It’s well known that English players don’t travel well but money talks. If English players could demand higher wages in France you would see a lot more playing their club football for Montpellier, Lyon, Lille, etc.

The fact of the matter is PSG and Monaco can spend freely for the most part but the majority of Ligue 1 clubs cannot. That’s why you see players like Dimitri Payet leave Marseille for West Ham United. In my opinion, the London club isn’t as prestigious as Marseille and can certainly be viewed as a step down. I agree with Le Graet when he calls the Payet transfer “embarrassing” but he only has himself to blame for the current financial plight of Ligue 1.

"It’s not that English football is better than anywhere else, but you practically add a zero to the salary of young players when they cross the Channel."
—NOEL LE GRAET

France has produced some of the best players the world has ever seen and will continue to do so. There’s no denying that. If/when Ligue 1 and the French Football Federation restructure their finances so that they can compete with other leagues I think you will see many internationals return home.

Five French players—not named Paul Pogba—PSG should consider signing this summer

1. Paul-Georges Ntep: The speedy Stade Rennais winger would be a solid signing if Antoine Griezmann’s price tag proves to be too high.

2. Raphael Varane: At 22-years-old, the Real Madrid defender is already world class. The competition to sign him will be fierce but pairing him with Thiago Silva would be a dream scenario.

3. Hugo Lloris: Rumored to be on his way out of White Heart Lane, PSG would be wise to swoop in and sign the former Lyon goalkeeper.

4. Laurent Koscielny: The Arsenal defender has improved every season at the North London club and could challenge David Luiz for a spot in the starting XI.

5. Alexandre Lacazette: Perhaps the unlikeliest of signings, the Lyon striker would be the perfect transition as Zlatan Ibrahimovic enters the last year of his contract at PSG.

Benjamin Stambouli agrees personal terms with PSG
According to RMC, Benjamin Stambouli has reached a contract agreement with PSG on a 4 year deal.

PSG have offered €6.5m for the player, all that is missing is an agreement with Tottenham, who are trying to up the price knowing the financial muscle that Les Parisiens harbour.

Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy is currently blowing up this deal by asking for around €9m for the player. An agreement could be reached by the end of the week or the beginning of next week, according to the report.

No Nassen suunnitelmanahan on rakentaa PSG:stä lopulta ranskalaisen rungon omaava joukkue.
